Click the pic to head over to NPR and listen to Washed Out’s first album Within and Without in it’s entirety before it hit’s stores July 12th. The freshman work of Ernest Greene is one of those albums that was made for a midsummer release. Echoing synths, deep strings, and the occasionally well placed xylophone make Greene’s work a perfect soundtrack for a bike ride along the beach, walk through the woods or drive through the country. Yeah there’s lots of other things you could do while listening to this album but so far those three seem most appropriate.
