I watched this on cable the other night and it reminded me of a few things.
#1 Ray Allen can act and will always be Jesus Shuttlesworth.
#2 Denzel was and will always be the fuckin man.
#3 Basketball was and will always be my favorite sport.
And #4 He Got Game is the best basketball movie ever made. Hoosiers ain’t got the heart this film does but a basketball film made in the 80’s about white people from Indiana shouldn’t so that’s ok. If you haven’t seen He Got Game watch it and if you have watch it again maybe you’ll get something new out of it. Public Enemy music video bonus after the jump.
